Please keep the variety like the years the Allman Brother swere there, or when the black crowes came. This should feel like a festival not a ho down.

Six words.

Lyle Lovett and his Large Band.

Seriously. If you haven't seen him live, you have no idea what you're missing. In three hours, he and the band play such a variety of music--blues, jazz, country, bluegrass, gospel, big band.

And if Francine Reed is touring with him? Even more amazing!

Dave Matthews seems like the obvious choice, but would probably be too expensive. How about some young rockers like Jet?

The Blus Band from Cedar Falls would be an awesome addition to SITP! The have been around for over 25 years and they still rock the blues! The Nada's would also be a great afternoon act as well. They are both Iowa bands and would represent!

Iowa City's Dave Zollo would be a great midafternoon show. IF you haven't seen him live, you're missing out. Bob Dorr and the Blue Band for sure.
Also, I think R.L. Burnside and some of the Mississippi blues artists would be good.
Others:
Bonnie Raitt, Widespread Panic, Moe, The Dead, Gov't Mule, my list can go on.
