I hadn't been to SITP for a few years because, frankly, the headliners didn't interest me; however, when I saw Cowboy Mouth's name down there wasn't anything going to stop me from coming this year! I recommend they be headliners next year! Another band suggestion is Korey & the Fireflies, which have opened for such greats as Goo Goo Dolls & Dave Matthews, plus they are a relatively local band (one member lives here in town!)
Another suggestion is to replace the early bands, like the noon - 1pm bands with acts for kids, so the toddlers will have more to do than the limited amount of rides and face-painting.
My thanks to Gateway and the community for putting on this once a year. its awesome.. I've gone for years.. I'm from Lincoln(my sweetheart's from South Sioux tho)! Another great Saturday in the Park!

Call me old, but Chuck Berry was a LEGEND that was a privilege for anyone to see. Dennis
SATURDAY IN THE PARK IS FUN FOR ALL I WOULD NOT MISS A YEAR FOR ANYTHING IN THE WORLD OR CHANGE ANYTHING. WOULD LOVE TO SEE BONNIE RAITT OR TINA TURNER..NOT VERY LIKLEY BUT I CAN ALWAYS HOPE RIGHT! THANKS FOR A GREAT DAY LOOK FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR ALREADY!
So when do we find out who's coming in 2007? The Sioux Falls Jazzfest line-up has been out for a couple of months now! I would really like to attend to be able to compare the two. So far, Jazzfest has demonstrated it's the most organized!
